Valtra tractor number 1000 imported to Czech Republic and Slovakia

At the end of February this year, there was a special opportunity to celebrate the handover to a new owner of already one thousand VALTRA tractor imported into the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. Exclusive importer of Valtra tractors situated in the city Beroun - company TOPAGRI s.r.o., together with the Embassy of the Republic of Finland, organized a dignified reminder of this milestone at the residence of the Finnish ambassador in Prague.

Valtra celebrates a new addition to the list of awards presented to its fourth generation at the SIMA Show 2019 in Paris. The new A Series HiTech 4 models have been awarded the ‘Machine of the Year’ title in the category of tractors under 150 hp.

Valtra will update N, T and S Series tractors above 130 kW to stage V emission standards during 2019. At the same time several new features will be introduced that improve operator comfort and reduce the overall cost of ownership of the machine.
Valtra N Series tractors now available with pneumatic front-axle suspension

Valtra is to introduce the AIRES air-suspended front axle option on the Valtra N Series range in 2019.
Air suspension is widely used on commercial vehicles, but on tractors it has been a unique Valtra feature for the last 25 years. An air-suspended front axle offers a faster response and better shock absorption level particularly in fast axle movements and when the axle load is changing rapidly like in front loader use. This makes operator comfort and traction superior over hydro-pneumatic solutions.

Valtra Design Challenge 2018 awards multi-purpose vehicle of the future

The winners of the 2018 Valtra Design Challenge were announced at the EIMA Show in Bologna, Italy. The competition which started in April and ended on September 23rd was targeted globally to designers, academic design students, design studios and automotive suppliers. This year’s challenge was to design the multi-purpose vehicle of the future: a machine that can handle multiple tasks to meet future needs and that is more efficient than today’s highly specialized machines.
World record: Unmanned Valtra removes snow at 73.171 km/h

Nokian Tyres and Valtra have set the world record for snow removal with an autonomous tractor. The speed record was set in March 2018 using an unmanned Valtra T254 Versu tractor equipped with Nokian Hakkapeliitta TRI tyres. Operated without a driver, the tractor ploughed snow on a closed road in Southern Finland at 73.171 km/h (45.466 mph).
Valtra roadshow expands: Trelleborg joins Valtra Smart Tour as an official partner

Trelleborg has joined the Valtra Smart Tour 2018 roadshow as an official partner. The Valtra Smart Tour demo fleet is equipped with Trelleborg tyres and Trelleborg will have a stand at Smart Tour locations. With the collaboration, both Valtra and Trelleborg aim to provide their customers with a more comprehensive customer experience at the roadshow and offer a good platform to deepen the discussion about Valtra tractors and Trelleborg tyres.
Red Dot 2018 Design Award to Valtra A4 Series

Valtra´s newest model series, Valtra A4 (75–130hp), has won the Red Dot 2018 Design Award in the category ‘Commercial Vehicles’. This award is a continuation to Valtra´s success in the world´s most famous and prestigious design award competition in which Valtra was recognized also in 2016 and 2017. The Red Dot Design Award recognizes the high-design quality of the A4 Series tractor.
Slovakian driver wins Valtra Master Cup

The finals of the Valtra Master Cup were held in March among the winning drivers from last year’s national competitions. The most skilful Valtra driver proved to be Radoslav Račák from Slovakia followed by Tets Kalvis from Latvia in second and Jean-Philippe Paraire from France in third.
Valtra switches to 100-percent renewable fuel to fill new tractors

Concrete steps towards a cleaner future. Valtra has become the first tractor factory in the world to begin using Neste MY Renewable Diesel as the start-up fuel for all new tractors. As a result, around 700,000 litres of fossil diesel fuel will be replaced each year by 100-percent renewable fuel.

Valtra’s new armrest and user interface SmartTouch has won the iF Design Award, one of the world’s most prestigious design awards. This year over 6400 designs from 54 countries participated in the competition. The winners were picked by an international jury of 63 experts.
